Denmark Student Visa — Document Checklist (From Bangladesh)

This checklist follows the requirements for the Danish Long-Term Study Visa (Residence Permit for Studies). Submission is usually done through VFS and the SIRI online portal.

1. Application & Passport

• Completed Denmark Study Visa Application (ST1 form – parts A & B).
• Valid passport (at least 1 year validity and 2 blank pages).
• Two recent passport-size photos (ICAO standard).
• VFS appointment confirmation.

2. University Admission Documents

• Official Admission Letter from a Danish university/college.
• Enrollment confirmation (if provided separately).
• Details of the course: duration, tuition fees, ECTS credits, start date.
• Proof of tuition fee payment (full or partial depending on institution).

3. Academic Documents

• All educational certificates (SSC, HSC, Diploma, Bachelor’s, etc.).
• Transcripts/mark sheets for each qualification.
• English language test results (IELTS/TOEFL) if required by your institution.

4. Financial Requirements (Very Important)

• Bank statements (last 3–6 months, bank-stamped).
• Proof of funds for living expenses in Denmark (SIRI requires a minimum monthly amount multiplied by your study period).
• Sponsor letter (if applicable) declaring financial responsibility.
• Sponsor’s financial documents: bank statements, salary proof, tax papers.
• Proof of tuition fee payment receipts.

5. Accommodation Proof

• University dormitory confirmation letter, or
• Rental agreement signed by both parties, or
• Temporary housing booking (if allowed for initial submission).

6. Health Requirements

• Travel medical insurance valid until residence permit approval.
• Health insurance after entering Denmark is required (public or private).

7. Civil & Police Documents

• Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) from Bangladesh.
• Birth certificate (for age verification, if requested).
• Marriage certificate (only if applicable).

8. SIRI Online Submission Documents

• All uploaded PDFs must match the same documents submitted at VFS.
• Receipt of SIRI case order ID.
• Payment confirmation for the Denmark residence permit fee.

9. Supporting Documents

• Cover letter explaining study purpose, goals, and financial plan.
• Previous visa copies and travel history.
• Proof of ties to Bangladesh (optional: family docs, property, job letter).

10. Fees & Submission

• Residence permit (SIRI) fee payment receipt.
• VFS service charge & biometrics fee.
• Keep copies of all documents; originals must be shown if requested.

Note: Denmark study visa processing can take several weeks, so apply early. Both the SIRI online submission and VFS physical submission must match exactly.
